In this issue Michael Johnson shows us samples from his sketchbook. Tony Yablon uncovers the unauthorised Peter Rabbits, using illustrations from unlicensed editions of Beatrix Potter's books. Ella Parry-Davis explores Lewis Carroll's Alice books as illustrated in Russian editions. Carroll's work was banned during the Soviet era, but since then many engaging interpretations have been published publications.

Former fashion designer turned illustrator David Roberts is interviewed by editor Ruth Prickett and there is an excellent article on the work of Radio Times stalwart Eric Fraser by David Wootton following on from the retrospective exhibition held earlier this year.
